I am working at the University of Washington as a research scientist with Prof. Siddhartha S. Srinivasa (Personal Robotics Lab). My research interest lies at the intersection between robotic manipulation, haptic sensors, and human robot interaction. Specifically, I am interested in utilizing haptic sensors, such as force/torque sensors and tactile sensors, in concert with other sensing modalities to enhance the perception, motion planning, and control of robots and increase the dexterity of robotic manipulation for the safe and interactive autonomy.
Prior to joining Personal Robotics Lab, I was a robotics software intern at Fetch Robotics. I have received B.S. in mechanical and electrical engineering and M.S. in aerospace engineering at Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST). For my master's program, I was advised by Prof. David H. Shim.
